Recently, a video of a woman publicly humiliating a younger lady at Ikeja City Mall in Lagos surfaced online. The younger lady was allegedly said to be sleeping with the middle-aged woman’s husband. Hence she decided to address the lady publicly.
Watching the video brought a couple of questions and thoughts, and I have decided to share it with you guys today. First, I find it unfair when ladies go for married men and vice versa. Don’t we take the consequences of karma into perspective? My God!
Dating a married man or married woman isn’t exactly one of the best relationships to be in if we are honest. Most of the time, it causes emotional pain and brings a lot of disrespect, just like this case. It even takes away the true essence of being in a relationship where you feel valued, genuinely loved, respected and adored. Well, I hope we put a lot of these into consideration to avoid karma, drama, harassment and pain.
Notwithstanding, I’m afraid I have to disagree with the middle-aged woman embarrassing, humiliating, and insulting the lady. This doesn’t necessarily fix things. It doesn’t exactly stop the man from cheating; neither does it stop the lady from being with the man because some people don’t care. So why fight the “side chick” or “side dude”? Why not your spouse or significant other? I get she is hurt, I will be, anyone in her shoes will feel the same, but does it warrant public embarrassment.
In my opinion, the woman should have addressed her husband and not the lady he is allegedly laying with. The issue here is the man; he doesn’t respect his vows to his wife, which is to love, respect and to remain true to their union. Even more, being with another woman clarifies that he doesn’t recognize his relationship with his wife and it is disrespectful.
Well, this is all I have to say. Nonetheless, I do have a couple of questions for you, if this were you, who would you blame? Would it be your partner or who he or she is involved with? Would you attack whoever your partner or the person he or she is with? Feel free to share your thoughts, opinions and views on today’s topic. Have a lovely weekend.
