What next – making life decisions

Some of us are so good at appearing as though our lives are going perfect, but then within us we know that certain things aren’t figured out yet. I know a lot of us can relate to this.

Nevertheless, some struggle to figure out what they can make out of life, while some struggle with the competition between their dreams and reality itself. Some have even put in so much effort to see things get better, yet nothing seems to work out. Moreso, some battle with figuring out their life goals, while some have their goals already marked out.

Our lives are made up of a complex network of pathway which moves us from one phase to another. Sometimes we wish our path are wide, smooth and clearly marked, however we end up finding ourselves trying to figure out, what next?

Life has placed us in a shoe full of options yet we still question as a result of making a right or wrong choice, or not knowing what to do – even though we make decisions every day in life.

My question is, do you know what you want? Do you know where to go? Do you even know where you are heading to?  Most at times we look at the lives of people around us and then we question ours.

Okay! take this moment to reflect, Is your next step really yours? Is it clearly defined? These questions could point to your career, relationships and many more. For those of you with your next steps planned, are you sure you are on the right track? For those still in the bubble of determining the right track how will you get this figured out?

We definitely want to know that the effort we put in today will yield fruit, but then life keeps us in suspense of what to expect.  The question then becomes: How can you dance in the fog, despite the confusion that seems so inherent to life?

Nonetheless, I know that one of our greatest gifts of life is the power to make choices, however what happens when we can’t figure out what next.
