The Queue

Hello guys, I know it’s been a while, but I have been swamped working on a few things lately. To prevent myself from feeling overwhelmed or exhausted, I decided to take a break. I appreciate all the lovely emails I get from you guys, trust me they mean a lot to me.

Well, recently, I stumbled on a post on Instagram. The ‘Post’ identifies people standing in a queue and those in front ascending. The caption states, “every minute someone leaves the world behind. We are all in ‘the line’ without knowing it. We never know how many people are before us. We can not move to the back of the line. We can not step out of the line. We can not avoid the line”.

However we choose to interpret it, it all comes down to the very END of life itself, often identified with the unkind word “death”.

I am not a fan of talking about the dead or death itself, but as our reality will have it, we all will die one day. The sad path is we have no idea of when and how yet! Not to be COLD on today’s post, but the caption speaks for itself.

I am here to employ you today, to make every moment count. Give people their flowers while they still can smell them. While doing this, also take some time to reflect, remembering that you are in the queue.

Think, what legacy will you leave behind? How will history remember you? How have you impacted the people around you and those you come in contact with.

Sometimes we need stuff like this to help us reflect a little. Feel free to leave your thoughts, opinions and comments below. I look forward to reading them. Have a great weekend.
