I had an intense conversation with my mom yesterday, we couldn’t help but appreciate how much we have grown in every aspect of life including our spirituality. She took time to remind me of the days we had cried and asked God to change our story. She expressed how exciting to see dreams slowly becoming reality.

As usual she appreciated every hurdle we faced, the hard time we went through together and times we had to smile even though realistically, circumstances slapped us hard. One thing she made us understand at a very young age was that “everything will be alright, challenges are only for a matter of time”.

I have grown to appreciate the gift of life, as well as the breaking of a new day. Looking back at my past, I would say I have a story to share but then it was an experience that has groomed me to be who I am today. What is yours?

We all have a story and hope you could relate to my little testimony. I have decided to use this to remind you all to appreciate the gift of life and how far you have come. I know as humans we all go through challenges and somehow in life, we end up crossing great hurdles. Nevertheless, we all must keep in my that these different challenges prepare us for our next step or steps to victory.

After my mom and I spoke, I felt so grateful not because I have achieved my dreams and goals in life but because I have come this far. When there is life, there is hope, only the living believes tomorrow exist and only the living can take advantage of the great opportunities that would come with it.

Sometimes we battle so much with the pains of our circumstances instead of looking positively into the beauty of the future. No one said it is going to be easy, it is not easy and might not be smooth. This is because the road to success can be narrow for some of us.

Take a moment to think about this, think about those days challenges shook you so hard, but then you will only realize that those challenges have made you even stronger. You are probably going through a face now, don’t worry your testimony will come soon.

Patience, patience, patience is all that you need. Also, don’t forget that in all of these, some day your hard work will pay off because heaven got a plan for you.

In addition, Keep in mind the words of  Melody Beattie “Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow”.
