While alone time is essential, spending quality time with friends and family is just as important.
So last weekend, I got to spend time with very close friends of mine after a very long time, and it made me realize how much I had missed them. I hadn’t seen most of them in person for over six months.
As we get older and life gets faster – the time we once had for our friends and family seems to diminish. Trust me, I know. I haven’t seen my parents and siblings in over two years.
I bet you are probably wondering where this is heading? We live in a world filled with uncertainty, other than hopes, dreams, and plans. Well, dealing with COVID this past year should help us better understand today’s blog post.
The past year have taught me to appreciate every moment spent with family, friends and loved ones as it can all change in a blink of an eye. So, while we chase our dreams, ambition and goals, let’s not forget to make memories. Memories that we could hold forever, memories with people we love.
The harsh truth of life is, ‘we never know.’ We never know when everything will change. We never know what the future holds. We do not know if later will be too late.
The most precious thing we have in life are moments. Let us make the most of them before they disappear.
