How would you define patience?

It is the capacity to accept or tolerate delay. It’s waiting without complaint but with faith that all your desires and goals will come to pass at the appointed time. Having patience is often tricky yet utterly indispensable for accomplishing great works.

Nonetheless, let’s be realistic. A lot of us struggle with being patient, we cannot wait, we want everything when we need them to happen; and when they don’t go as planned, we get frustrated.

Over the years, I have grown to understand the essence of patience. Sometimes, we get really ambitious and forget to ask God for guidance and for his will to be done. We forget that there are times and seasons for everything.

Patience is a virtue, but it’s not always easy. It is very critical for daily life and an essential factor in achieving success. Patience gives us the ability to make good life choices. It also provides us with the ability to focus on longer-term outcomes and goals, rather than making impulsive decisions.

Basically, what I’m simply saying is that patience is essential for our success, and our day-to-day interactions with people; in essence, it is vital for life.

  1. Patience is a struggle in a world of instant gratification.. it takes a lot of strength(from God)to be content with where you are while looking ahead to something greater without being desperate but instead working on bit size plans to attain a greater goal.
