I have come to terms with the fact that God has a purpose for everything. This time last year, I was struggling to let go of many things and many people. The signs were clear, but I wasn’t ready. Well, I’m grateful that he took them away from me for my Good. It took me a while to understand, but trust me, the blessings are evident.
I know it is challenging to let go of things and people you love, especially when they mean so much to you. However, if we pay attention closely, the reason God decides to take them away is that they aren’t the best for us at the time, or perhaps they are holding us back from moving forward. As weird as it sounds, it’s the truth.
Letting go and letting God lead has brought me nothing but peace, joy and happiness. I have seen and experienced tremendous growth and breakthrough. It is as though my life changed overnight for the better. Then, I realized that this was the reason he wanted to make these changes. I do not feel any regret or pain. Instead, I am excited that God came through when He did and didn’t let me wallow in my emotion; if not, I wouldn’t be able to explain what my life would have become.
I’m sharing this to encourage anyone afraid to let go. Whatever it is, as long as you are in tune with the will of God, it’s for good. Believe him and let him make this change for you because you are about to venture into a new beginning filled with grace, love and joy.
Letting go isn’t easy, but it is worth it. Have a fantastic day and weekend folks!
