Keeping an open mind

Sometimes in life, we need to be open-minded to new opportunities, new change, new phases, new growth. At the same time, we need to be open-minded to the fact that we have to let go of somethings, some people, and certain phases. You might find it tough to keep an open mind, and this often happens when we get too comfortable with our space and where we are. Never get too comfortable, be open to the beauty that life has to offer.

Embrace new ideas; it’s important to motivate yourself to try new things like opening your mind to the possibilities of new opportunities, knowledge, adventure, and even relationships because they could bring greater fulfillment and happiness to your life.

I have gotten to a stage in my life where I have learned to be open-minded to the beauty of life that comes with change, and challenges because a lesson always accompanies them and also enhances personal growth. It doesn’t mean I believe or accept everything, but I do listen, observe, feel and try to comprehend every situation on my path which is where the lesson and experiences are gained. As you maintain an open mind, you experience more confidence through your willingness to assimilate new ideas and principles.

I know it is the season of celebration, but I thought to share this with you. This Christmas could make a difference in your life, and that could happen with you being open-minded. You never know who could be a blessing to you and where you could meet a blessing or opportunity. Open your mind to learning from every opportunity you have. Open your mind to new possibilities in front of you.

Even more, open your mind to letting off some less useful things in your life. You can’t carry the burden of the past to the present. Let go, move forward.

According to George Bernard Shaw, “Progress is impossible without change, and those who cannot change their minds cannot change anything.”  I would like you to think this through, and remember, open-mindedness can enhance positive growth. Have a blissful holiday.

  1. Yes, we always need to keep our mind open… for one thing, no one knows it all and so when we shut our minds we deprive ourselves the privilege of learning and improving ourselves.

In short, open-mindedness is the key way to grow.

Neat style of writing btw – i like it 🙂
