It is okay to not be okay!

Sometimes we get overwhelmed with life challenges or perhaps obstacles that might come our way, that we find ourselves stressing out, worrying and not knowing what to do. Even worse, sometimes we might feel as though things go wrong after another, and suddenly you feel confused and even wallowed in self-doubt. The reality is you are human, it is okay to feel this way, and it is okay not to be okay. Really!

Let us face the truth. There will be days in this life when things are not going to be OKAY and when you will not be okay. Days and times like this feel dark, scary, uncertain, and worrisome, but we need to understand that days like this will come no matter how hard we run. It is part of life.

However, the biggest mistakes we sometimes make as humans, and I am guilty of this too, is that we think we have to be strong all the time, and some of us believe breaking down is being vulnerable. Please, read this carefully, it is fine, and it is okay to feel stressed sometimes. It is okay to feel pain. It is okay to be hurt; it is okay to cry too.

Don’t resist feeling “bad” because it seems like you have lost motivation. Don’t care about what everyone else is doing, and remember that we all know what it’s like to “not be okay” because we all go through it too. The feelings are normal, it is not fun, but it doesn’t last forever.

Try to get motivated during times like this, i know it isn’t easy, but it will help. Remember the famous saying “this too shall pass”. Think of life in that approach and maybe, it might change your course of dealing with “not so okay” days.
