So last week Thursday, I graduated from the University of Windsor where i studied Digital Journalism Communications Media and Films. I am so grateful to God and my parent for making this dream of mine a reality. It’s surreal and strangely unexpected that even after all of the Assignment, practicum class, projects and research paper, it doesn’t feel like it could be time to graduate. In fact, through all the struggles of the late night studying, researching, editing; it still feels like it’s gone by too fast.
I am incredibly grateful for the experience I have had at the University both academically and socially. I like to call the University my place of growth. It wasn’t easy, but I scaled through it. On several occasions, I attempted to change my majors because of the stress. Trust me there were days I couldn’t handle the workload. Well, I am grateful to God for all my amazing friends and mentor who never let that happen, lol! I am happy I never took that step. University came with so much teaching and lessons. I learned to be patient, and I learned to work harder and harder for every course. I also learned to apply my work ethic in my work-life. I am grateful to God for the process, the struggles, and the journey. I am now a graduate of the University of Windsor, and the last four year was filled with many fantastic experiences.
I have so much to be grateful for today! I have been so emotional and so excited. God did it for me. Thank you God, for making it happen; thank you for giving me fantastic parents whom you used to train me this far. I keep saying it! I am a living testimony, and it could only be by his grace. My dear reader Join me to celebrate!
