So yesterday was my dad’s birthday. My best friend and first love turned a year older. I couldn’t help but reminisce on how amazing a dad he is. He has such an amazing soul. He is my biggest fan and supporter. He is always there to cheer me up, reading every article I write. Always encouraging me to be a strong independent woman.
I just want to use this medium to appreciate my dad and my friend. How amazing is it to know that I have found a friend and a supporter in him. Sometimes I think about how privileged and lucky I am to have such a fantastic dad, I can’t help but remain grateful to God. He has taught me to appreciate life and all it has to offer.
Thank you for teaching me to understand my worth and value as a woman. Thank you for being a great role model, and a good listener. Thank you for being understanding. Trust me I vent a lot to my dad; you can’t even imagine. Thank you so much for always motivating me to be a better person.
Thanks for being the worse disciplinarian, I mean every time you broke my phones and sim cards because I was just bare stubborn. Every time you would luck me up in my little prison. Thank you for always keeping me grounded. Thank you for teaching me to accept corrections. Thank you for teaching me to recognize my mistakes and learn from them. Thank you for always keeping me grounded. Well, I guess I am a better person because of you and mom.
You are an epitome to practical love, a rare gem, a lover of all, a giver, a teacher, and a father. I could go on and on. Words cannot describe how much you mean to me. God indeed did not make a mistake when he put me in your hands. I celebrate you every day. I pray the good Lord blesses you abundantly.
Love from your baby.
